MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS 
 “Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to Him on the ten-stringed lyre.  Sing to Him a new song, play skillfully, and shout for joy.” (Psalm 33:2) 

AUDIBLE PRAISE – “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that confess His name.”  (Hebrews 13:15) 

SILENCE – “But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him.”  (Habakkuk 2:20) 

LIFTING HANDS – “I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands” (Psalm 63:4).  “I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”
(I Timothy 2:8). 

CLAPPING AND SHOUTING – “Clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with  the voice of triumph” (Psalm 47:1)  “I will clothe her priests with salvation and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.” (Psalm 132:16) 

DANCING – “Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp.”  (Psalm 149:3) (see also II Samuel 6:12-22). 

BOWING DOWN – “But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple.” (Psalm 5:7).  “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” (Psalm 95:6).   “I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.” (Psalm 138:2). 

KNEELING – “When Solomon had finished all these prayers and supplications to the Lord, he rose from before the altar of the Lord, where he had been kneeling with his hands spread toward heaven...” (I Kings 8:54)  “For this reason I kneel before the Father.” (Ephesians 3:14) 

PROSTRATION – “…Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, ‘What message does my Lord have for His servant?’” (Joshua 5:14)  “Jehoshaphat bowed his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord.” (II Chronicles 20:18)
